This is a personal invitation to you to be a sponsor of the second annual Prose in the Park Literary Festival and Book Fair to be held in the Parkdale Park in Ottawa on June 4, 2016 from 11 am to 6 pm. There will also be a poetry evening (the Poetic Prelude) on June 3, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Origin Studio, 57 Lyndale Street, Hintonburg.

1200 people attended the first Prose in the Park in 2015. We fully expect 2000 to attend this year, bringing a lot of exposure to the Wellington West area and its businesses. Among the 67 panelists and moderators this year, we have Heather O'Neill, Charles de Lint, Steven Heighton, Andrew Pyper, Caroline Pignat and George Elliot Clarke, just to name a few best-selling, award-winning Canadian authors. Prose in the Park is the largest open-air literary festival east of Toronto - a real landmark on Ottawa's flourishing literary landscape.

A quick perusal of our website will give you a good idea of the magnitude and professionalism of this event, and why it might be of interest to you to join the many local businesses, which sponsored us last year and intend to do the same this year. The event will be heavily publicized through posters and programs with the logos of sponsors prominently featured and through our social media campaign (website, Facebook and Twitter). All sponsors will be recognized by announcements by the Master of Ceremonies during the event itself. May 9, 2016 is the deadline for inclusion of your business name or logo on the 500 posters that will be posted throughout Wellington West, Westboro and adjacent areas of Ottawa.
